This Privacy Policy describes how Threads Monitoring ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and shares information about you when you use our application.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information:

• Threads Account Data: When you authorize our application, we collect your Threads User ID, username, display name, profile picture URL, follower count, following count, and media count.
• Access Tokens: We store Threads access tokens (long-lived tokens, valid for 60 days) in our database to enable ongoing access to your account data and posting capabilities.
• Usage Data: We may collect basic server logs including IP addresses and access times for security and debugging purposes.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information to:

• Display your Threads account statistics on the monitoring dashboard.
• Enable automated or scheduled posting to your Threads account via the API.
• Maintain and improve the application's functionality.
• Ensure the security and integrity of the service.

3. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored in a secured database. We implement appropriate technical measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. Access tokens are stored securely and used only for the purposes described in this policy.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We do not share your data with any party outside of what is required to provide the service (e.g., communication with Meta/Threads APIs).

5. Meta (Threads) Platform Data

This application uses the Threads Graph API. By connecting your account, you agree to Meta's Terms of Service and Data Policy. We only request permissions that are necessary for the functionality of this application:

• threads_basic — Read basic profile information needed to identify and display your connected Threads account.
• threads_content_publish — Create and publish content to your Threads account (including scheduled posts initiated by you).
• threads_manage_insights — Read account-level insights needed to display follower counts (via Threads Insights metrics).
• threads_profile_discovery — Look up public profile metadata (used only as a fallback when insights metrics are unavailable).

If we add optional features later, we will request the corresponding Threads permissions and update this policy accordingly.

6. Data Retention

We retain your data as long as your account remains connected to our application. You may disconnect your account at any time by removing it from the dashboard, which will permanently delete your access token and account data from our database.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the data we hold about you.
• Request deletion of your data by removing your account from the dashboard.
• Revoke our application's access at any time through your Threads account settings.

8. Children's Privacy

This application is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page.
